Cutting Boards

Unfortunately I am no longer available to make custom pieces as I have been doing with Wooden Crown.

In 2024 WoodenCrown.se partnered with the team at CustomWood.se. At Custom Wood we have started a production line of furniture built from locally sourced Swedish oaks. From tree to table our entire process is local and sustainable. Our selection of furniture will soon be available for purchase at www.customwood.se.

Size, Color, and Patterns
Pieces are made from oak, cherry, maple, and other locally harvested urban woods. Clients can use the examples below to design a board in a size, color and pattern of their liking.

End-Grain Boards
Most of our cutting boards and butcher’s blocks are “end-grain” boards. The benefits of having an end-grain cutting board are many. Firstly, when cutting on the end grain, your knife stays sharper because you are slicing in between the wood’s fibers. Secondly, end-grain cutting boards are self-repairing (to a degree) because the wood fibers bounce back into place after chopping.
